Friendly service, amazing food and wine for a reasonable price
Visited Hosteria Moderna by way of a recommendation. We were not disappointed. A warm and friendly greeting at the door, and a choice of tables, we arrive at 19:30, so were a little taken aback because we were the only diners, no one wants to eat in an empty restaurant right? However, we ordered from the menu and our excellent food came quickly, and with another smile. Excellent quality, and great portions. The beer selection is comprehensive, and well tended, We had a couple of pints of Guiness, can't say its the best in Verona, but it is the best we have drunk in Verona so far! But a really excellent pint, or four.... The decor is pleasant and has a motoring/road/motorcycle theme, and as we ate the place filled up, predominantly with locals, which is always a good sign, so our fears were soon dispersed about our solo dining. All in all a great dining experience, and one we will return to, and try the wonderful looking steaks.
Really nice service, Emanuele is very friendly and leads the restaurant with passion. Not only great burgers, also Italian modern kitchen available!

One of the best burgers I have tasted, & I have been taste testing them throughout my travels in Europe & Australia & New Zealand. Very good service & I would highly recommend this restaurant. My wife enjoyed a very tasty tagatelli, blue cheese, mushroom & speck.
